Paris

Our first destination is Paris, and yes some said Paris is always a good idea.

We took the Eurostar from London St Pancras early in the morning. Again pagi2 budek, masih gelap, dingin, mobil pun udah kaya lemari es. It was 1 degree Celsius. This is my second time going on Eurostar to Paris. Dulu Eurostar berangkat dari Waterloo station sekarang pindah ke St Pancras. Pake proses imigrasi segala, dan scan bagasi mirip kaya di airport, ribet!

Dari London ke Paris by Eurostar cuma 2,5 jam, dan kita sampai pukul 10.30 di Gare du Nord. Dan karena kita harus catch train to Milan from Gare du Lyon, kita pun akhirnya pindah station and put our luggage there.

Bad impression when arriving at Gare du Nord. The Station is very busy, very packed, not so clean, dan tiba2 eh ada orang minta2 sumbangan donk. Oh dear ! Further to Gare de Lyon, tambah ga karu2an.

What is Paris without Eiffel Tower. Famous landmark that become the reason why people visited Paris. Getting there by RER, mirip seperti kereta bawah tanah, but this one more faster compare to Metro. Katanya begitu. Sampai sekarang saya juga ga paham bedanya gimana. Tapi ya itu, experiencing Paris underground is kind of uncomfortable in so many ways. You are expected to be cautious at all time, until it eventually drain you. Thankfully we are safe.

Eiffel Tower leaves us wonder, why this beautiful place surrounded with man selling selfies or fake souvenir, pick pocket that try to blend in, and not forgetting woman who approaching tourist like us asking for donation by pretending looking for someone who can speak English. To be honest that was really bothering.
So, whatever it was we keep on taking pictures, because yes, we admit this is a beautiful place.

Unfortunately we didn't get to see many places as scheduled, so after Eiffel we went to Arc de Triomphe, Strolling down the Champ Elysees, and ended at Lourve. Too bad we missed few places, but we can always come back hahahah. Iya kali!!!
Next time Paris, hopefully would be a lot nicer.
